The DigitalMetal CDT launched in September with our inaugural Induction Day. Hosted at the Sir Bob Burgess Building at the University of Leicester, it brought together Cohort 1 Phase 1 students & CDT Partner Institutions.
Our first Cohort 1 students met for the first time in late September. This meeting offered a fantastic opportunity for them to get to know each other and establish connections with the DigitalMetal Team; Prof Hong Dong, Dir. Of the CDT and co-inspectors Prof. Nick Green (Univ. of Birmingham), Prof. Steven Kenny (Univ. of Loughborough), Prof. Darek Ceglarek & Prof. Sai Gu (Univ. of Wawick), Prof. Tanvir Hussain & Dr Geert De Maere (Univ. of Nottingham), Prof Nicola Bateman & Dr Daniel Hao (Univ. of Leicester) alongside Dr Maryam Khaksar Ghalati, the Centre Manager for DigitalMetal.
